Function 🤝 Form

This bedroom was doing its job a little too well - putting its owners to sleep literally and figuratively! It needed a boost of color, texture, and pattern to make it feel truly comfortable for our clients. This was a budget friendly project as all the core furniture (and even the bedspread!) remained!

Entryways— not to be overlooked! We always think it’s a good idea for homeowners to include entryways in their updates— particularly when neighboring rooms are getting a refresh. An entryway may be a smaller area, but it’s typically the first space guests enter. It’s should set the tone for the rest of the home. Your space isn't ugly, it's just not done 😜. We hear clients express dissatisfaction with their homes all the time. They don't like how it looks. It doesn't feel comfortable to them. It doesn't feel finished.

And sometimes it doesn't feel finished because the room is quite literally not finished. They purchased the major furniture, maybe a pillow or a lamp, but then kind of stopped. No shame, life is busy! I (Sarah) have my own incomplete rooms.

But the good news is that we can help you get a plan in place to add the elements your space still needs.

Room reveal day! 

Lounging has never looked so polished! Our clients had recently fallen in love with and purchased this home and it is easy to see why! This spacious living room had so much to offer with its high ceilings, brick fireplace, and loads of natural light. All that was missing was some updates to match its new owners’ personal taste and lifestyle. 

Self-proclaimed homebodies, our clients wanted a space that was tailored, tidy, and traditional but also brought some major coziness for lounging and watching the Eagles. We loved this direction and felt that the bones of the room would be perfect for those goals. We brought the sophistication and traditional aesthetic through the layout, patterns/textures, and furniture styles. Then added a huge dose of cozy with oversized seating and ottoman, and rich color palette. 

We loved adding a few nods to cars and sports (two of their special interests outside of their pride-and-joy pup Benji!) in the artwork and accessories. We are thrilled with the end result and, more importantly, so are our clients!
