Yesterday tragedy occurred at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, OR. Our hearts are broken to the families and the Bend community who lost three children and a teacher in the shooting yesterday. 💔

Words do not seem adequate in expressing our heartfelt condolences to the Bend/La-Pine communities. When a tragedy like this occurs to a community that supports our own so much, it's incredibly hard to grasp the reality that this could happen, especially at an Elementary School where such young children are playing & learning, and just starting their lives.

We hope for peace and understanding, and will continue to pray for the community as a whole, the individual families involved with the tragic loses, the first responders, all the staff, parents and children of Silver Rail Elementary School, and so many more who are affected by this event.

🤔Remember the "5 W's" from back in School: Who? What? When? Where? Why? Let's dust them off and talk about "what the heck is going on on West Main St" in Medford!

❓Who: Drivers & Cyclists!
❓What: Diagonal Parking on the South side of the Street, 2 lanes of traffic going West, and Bike Lane on the North side of the Street (side we're located on) that goes both directions (so 2 lanes).
❓When: They took out the old set-up over the last couple of weeks; and the new diagonal parking was laid out just the other day!
❓Where: On West Main Street in Medford!
❓Why: The City of Medford listened to the complaints about the previous set-up, so they voted and passed this new parking style and implemented it very quickly!

🅿So please be patient as they finish painting the street, obey the speed limit and signs and PLEASE remember that the street parking directly in front of our store has gotten smaller, so be conscientious of the spacing. But don't let that deter you from shopping at our AMAZING store! Be safe!✨
