The cost of greed is our safety, health and financial security. The last time financial regulations were lax we saw the mortgage lending markets collapse requiring a government bail out. Under Trump, we’ve already seen food borne illness outbreaks and a resurgence of diseases that should have been long extinct (hello mumps & polio). The lack of regulation on pollution will degrade our air and water and accelerate climate change with stronger storms & more drought & fires.

Corporations and ultra wealthy financially prosper with a lack of regulation, we all pay the price. Trump isn’t on the ballot, but lackeys who enable him are, You know what to do…

The midterms are less than a month away… unless you are very wealthy, you are probably concerned about the cost of gas, groceries and healthcare. You may also be appalled at the gross corruption, no bid contract, government overpayment for properties or the cost of the Iran war ($40Billion). You might be concerned about the violation of human rights, the gutting of governmental departments or the lack of federal regulation that is poisoning out air, water and food. If you share none of these concerns, please stay home on Election Day and allow those of us who care to clean up the mess that is currently our country.

I am so fortunate to be able to visit Andrea’s garden! Busy Bee dahlia is one of her hybrids (as in original new dahlia variety!); she’s luscious cream on the front of each petal with Raspberry blush on the back. So gorgeous!!

It’s was raining buckets yesterday and the wind was sweeping down the Charles while we brought the beauty of fall gardens inside the Museum of Science. Locally grown Dahlias and other blooms from Sunspell Flora Roving Radish Flower Farm and Andrea with show stopper Doris Jane from Paula Fisher - Paula’s Dahlias were spun into lush florals. And at the end of the evening - even the T-Rex 🦖 was smiling!
