Hey everyone! Come to the Hoag Library on Monday, August 10th and learn how to sew applique patches! We will be making an ornament in the class so you have a take home project but the skills you learn can be applied to so much more! You can apply this to quilting to make fancy quilt blocks, mending clothes with stylish patches, and so much more! The best part? This workshop is completely free! You just sign up and show up to participate. It’s gathering time again! My aunt helped me to pick a TON of grape hyacinths growing in her yard and gardens. I laid them out in my studio to dry and then pulled just the blue buds off and collected this entire jam jar full! And that’s just what we got from the first round, I have more drying now!
