H&S Interiors been working with one of the New restaurants coming in to downtown Melbourne and we were reminded that it's been too long since we've eaten at The Burger Place! A mini cheeseburger for Michelle, an 8oz for Dan, plenty of fries to split, add in an amazing chocolate shake and it was easy to see yet again why they have been around for 17 years.

This old settee has officially landed on its feet! 🐾

We gave this vintage beauty a total reupholstery transformation, and we’re not kitten around—we are feline fine about the result. From its beautifully carved wood frame to the bold black-and-gold cat fabric (complete with matching pillows), this piece is now the cat’s meow.

It’s purr-fectly tailored, seriously pawsome, and ready for many more years of lounging in style. This was one fur-midable makeover, and we’re absolutely smitten!

Have a furniture project that needs some TLC? Come see us at H&S Interiors—we’ll make it purr-fect! 🐾

Want that gorgeous square-patterned look on a sofa? Easy! 😆

You just measure out 60 individual squares, cut every single one of them out, and… VIOLA! Your sofa cover is done! 😉

Okay… maybe there are a few more steps.

We’ll save you the time of watching Michelle sew every square to the next one to create the grid. Then she attaches a string and clip to each corner, pulls each one through the foam, wraps everything, and secures it all in place.

But other than that…
VIOLA! 😂😂

This is one of those upholstery details that looks simple when it’s finished—but there’s a LOT of work hiding underneath those perfectly spaced squares!

And yes, Michelle really does make it look that easy. ❤️

Thinking about giving your sofa a whole new look? Come see what we can do at H & S Interiors!

*𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆… 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗹𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆! 😂

It’s so rewarding to see how much a room can change when you give the furniture some love!

This couple worked with us to 𝗿𝗲𝘂𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗹𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵— the dining chairs, the couch, and finally this wicker chair.

And the cushion? Well… let’s just say it was having a rough time. 😬

The foam had lost its support 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆. You could actually feel the frame through the seat! 😂 Not exactly the “sink in and relax” experience they were going for.

So we gave it 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗮𝗺, 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲.

Now the screen porch looks refreshed, the furniture feels comfortable again, and this wicker chair can finally stop crying for help. 😆

𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀? Don’t replace it just yet — let’s see what a little H & S Interiors TLC can do!

🚤 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗖𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗠 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗬 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘?! 😂

These custom Sunbrella® pillows were made right here in **Brevard County**… but they’re about to see a LOT more of the country than we are! 🌊🛥️

They’re heading out on “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽”—a nearly 6,000-mile boating adventure that travels up the Atlantic Coast, through the Great Lakes, and down the Mississippi River before making its way back around.

And here’s a fun fact: the fastest solo trip around the Great Loop took just 19 days, completed by a 71-year-old in a 16-foot boat! 😳

Our customers aren't in quite that much of a hurry. They’re planning to take the scenic route and enjoy the journey over the next year. Now THAT sounds like our kind of trip! ❤️

We love making custom pieces for our customers, but we especially love hearing where those pieces are going and the stories behind them.

And who knows… maybe your next custom pillow has an adventure waiting for it too! 😉

Whether you’re dreaming of something small, like custom pillows, or something bigger, like a custom American-made MAVIN dining set, we love helping turn your ideas into something real.
