Philodendron ‘Green Congo Nuclear’ Variegated : A bold tropical beauty known for its massive glossy leaves and vibrant lime-green new growth that almost glows. Self-heading, rare variegated beauty is easy to care for!

Native to tropical regions of South America, the Nuclear Congo is loved for its dramatic foliage, easy care nature, and lush full growth habit.

Fun fact: New leaves emerge in a bright neon green color before deepening into rich glossy green as they mature, giving this plant its “nuclear” look. 💫

💦 Water: Allow top soil to lightly dry between waterings

Our favorite plant of the week:
Frizzle Sizzle $25

Fun facts about the Frizzle Sizzle plant (Albuca spiralis):

• Where it’s from: Native to South Africa, where it grows in dry regions with winter rain and sunny conditions.

• Why it curls: Its spiraled leaves help reduce surface area exposed to harsh sun, which can help limit water loss. More sunlight usually = tighter curls.

• It grows backwards from most houseplants: It’s active in cooler months and often goes dormant in summer heat.

• It blooms too: Mature plants send up flower stalks with yellow flowers that smell sweet—some say like vanilla.

• It stores water: The bulb acts like a reservoir, helping it survive drought.

Meet the Alocasia Nobilis : a striking, sculptural plant with deeply lobed, wavy leaves that bring serious presence to any space.

A cultivar of Alocasia sanderiana, Nobilis can reach up to 6 feet tall in the right environment (typically around 3 feet indoors).

Fun fact: Alocasias grow from corms (little underground bulbs), meaning they can reproduce and multiply over time!

🌞 Light: Medium to bright indirect light
💦 Water: Let the top 1–2 inches dry out, then water
💨 Humidity: Loves humidity, but does well in most homes
🐶🐱 Pets: Not pet safe if ingested
