After months of dreaming, planning, and picking every little detail for this historic-home-turned-design-studio, it’s finally starting to feel real… and she is CUUUTE, YALL. So much more to come, but we’re already obsessed!! This project has been the collective brainchild of this team, and we are so proud of what we are building here!

On that note, with so many beautiful projects in full swing AND a Studio move on the horizon, the next few months are going to be BUSY!! 👀 We’re now booking new projects for December and the New Year, so if your home is on your 2027 wish list, now’s the time to get on our calendar!

We love a good transformation post. But today we want to share exactly HOW this transformation unfolded!

So, how did we go from what you're seeing here versus what's depicted in the "Before" photo?

We:

• Removed the built-in soaking tub.
• Designed a completely new layout.
• Created a spacious walk-in shower.
• Added a frameless glass shower enclosure.
• Installed a freestanding soaking tub.
• Spec'd the ideal tub placement for balance and flow.
• Replaced all flooring throughout the space.
• Continued the flooring seamlessly into the shower.
• Installed floor-to-ceiling shower tile.
• Tiled the shower half wall.
• Spec'd the perfect tile size.
• Selected the tile pattern and layout.
• Coordinated grout color to complement the tile.
• Replaced the builder-grade vanity.
• Determined the vanity size and configuration.
• Spec'd the wood tone for the cabinetry.
• Chose a reeded cabinet front detail for added texture.
• Selected a natural stone countertop.
• Spec'd an undermount sink.
• Selected modern faucets.
• Coordinated all plumbing finishes.
• Removed the wall-to-wall builder mirror.
• Installed framed designer mirrors.
• Removed the dated vanity light.
• Added decorative wall sconces.
• Installed a statement ceiling fixture.
• Spec'd the perfect fixture scale for the room.
• Added built-in open shelving for storage and styling.
• Removed the wallpaper border.
• Repainted the walls in a soft neutral palette.
• Brightened the entire space with lighter finishes.
• Updated towel bars and accessories.
• Selected cohesive hardware throughout.
• Styled the shower with functional accessories.
• Added greenery to soften the space.
• Styled the vanity with layered accessories.
• Added textiles to create warmth.
• Styled the freestanding tub.
• Chose a runner that complements the palette.
• Balanced warm wood tones with cool stone finishes.
• Mixed brass, wood, stone, and glass for visual interest.
• Maximized natural light by eliminating visual barriers.
• Turned a dated builder-grade bathroom into a spa-inspired retreat.
