Hard to believe this home started with a completely blank slate!

Things are really starting to come together as the wallpaper and drapery are in, and we’re in the final stages of adding those finishing touches.

When you bring a designer into a new build early on, there’s a clear vision guiding the decisions right from the start. We get to think through the details along the way and make sure everything comes together as planned, right down to the finishing touches.

We’re wrapping up the main living spaces and can’t wait to show you more!

When you have a charming city view like this, you let it have a little main-character moment.

We kept the interiors crisp and graphic with dark gray walls, white furnishings, and a silvery rug, then left those beautiful windows completely bare.

A few pops of color were added intentionally to help bring out the city view and complement the natural light as it changes throughout the day.

Safe to say, the view doesn’t need much help stealing the show 😉

One home, two dining spaces, and two completely different personalities 🃏🪄

In this Newton home, the everyday dining area feels clean and understated, while the formal dining room brings in a little more personality with floral wallpaper and mismatched chairs.

We love having the freedom to create different experiences within the same home. One space keeps things simple, while the other gives us a reason to dress up and linger a little longer.

This is proof that you can love different aesthetics and find a way to bring both into your home.

You know it’s a good presentation when the whole table disappears under fabric samples, wallpaper, patterns, and color.

Putting everything together like this gives our clients the chance to see and experience the materials before anything is ordered. They can see how the colors, patterns, and textures work together in real life, and we can make adjustments together while everything is still on the table.

It may look like a very pretty mess, but there’s a lot of thought behind every piece on the table.

Have you noticed how we start noticing our homes a little more once fall rolls around? 🍂

With less time spent outside and more time at home, we start noticing the things we’ve been overlooking. The bathroom that could use a little more personality, the color you wish you’d been braver with, or the details that suddenly feel worth changing.

This bathroom is a good reminder that a simple black-and-white palette can still have plenty of personality. The checkered flooring, vanity detail, mix of textures, and thoughtful little moments keep it interesting without making it feel busy.

A few days in New York, and my calendar was packed with design, inspiration, and some very good company.

I made my way through the Kips Bay Decorator Show House, caught up with Chad Dorsey Design , and spent time at New York Design Center Design Center Lexington for What’s New, What’s Next. I also got my copy of Jay Jeffers book signed, and attended the Design Leadership Network dinner at Katz’s Deli, which felt like a pretty perfect New York evening.

Lots to see, lots to talk about, plenty of walking, and maybe a glass of w**e or two along the way. Exactly the kind of trip I love!
