I'm at Lightfoot Farm Market in Millington today until noon. I'm clearing out items that I won't be carrying as I transition into my Ren Faire "era". Lots of Memphis themed items. Brave the heat and come see me!

The next step in the canvas tent creation - tiger time. I figured I'd "represent" while sticking to the Renaissance/Medieval theme. I'm going to draw him on one of the side panels then paint him in. He will be 42inches tall by 30 inches wide. He's sitting just above the transition from the slanted top to the vertical flap.

A variation of my small tankard for the upcoming Middle Tennessee Highland Games on September 12 & 13 in Hendersonville, TN. Look cool while you're walking the grounds with your Half Batch Brewing Fulkin. I've got a few more themed items I'm hoping to have ready for the weekend.

New item! Finally had time to work on this as I'm waiting for the fabric paint to arrive so I get the tent painted. For those who wish to look regal while partaking of their canned adult beverage, may I present the Celtic Chalice. Ill be at the the second weekend in September. I'll have this and other Celtic/Scottish/Irish themed items.

Progress on the canvas tent. Starting to paint bottom edges. This will hide my crooked hem stitches and give it some medieval style. Might do the inside as well if I don't lose my mind doing all four sides.

3 sides done and 1 to go. After that, painting the bottom edges and my "crest" on the front panel. Final step will be sewing all the panels together.

More progress on the tent. I've got one set of panels stitched together and a "dry run" done on the frame. I've also done my first bit of hemming on the decorative edge. It ain't sexy, but it's a first for me. Maybe this will be the backside panel. I'm hoping to get the bulk of this finished this weekend.

The start to a new direction. I've been told by several people at a number of my markets that my stuff would be popular at Ren Faires. I've resisted the idea of going that direction due to the requirements most have for a period tent and other items. Well, I'm jumping in for next year. I've started on my tent and will be posting as I progress. I've never sewn before, so this will be a totally new experience. First photos are the canvas that I'm cutting for the tent cover.

I'll be back at Lightfoot Farm Market this weekend. I have a new planter ready to go. You know him, you love him, Hobbits rode on his back for days - it's Treebeard. He's ready with drainage holes and a leafy catch tray.

Two new items for this weekend's craft market in Monteagle. Gargoyle and dragon rune bookends. Both were fun to make and would look really great around some printed pages.
