One tiny landscape in the midst of this market basket of produce finds me with 19 finished (somewhat) paintings in 30 days of painting from life for the .easel challenge! I love discovering new artists to follow and seeing their daily work and I so appreciate .easel for sponsoring this event and putting forth all the effort it takes to keep up with it all. Thank you also to my friends that have encouraged me this month and put up with my excessive posts.
Several of these paintings are available for purchase, so if you have an interest in one, private message me. Prices vary based on the size from $50 to $200 and the sizes are listed each individual day. The paper pieces include vintage gold frames.
Fellow painters, congratulations on making it to the finish! It was such a fun ride!

Day 29 challenge is a 12"x12" oil on linen panel and definitely has a ways to go so this one tomorrow should finish up 19 paintings in 30 days! It has sure been a fun ride, but more on that tomorrow when I will actually be FINISHED! My favorite part is always discovering artists from all over that I didn't know of before and the new friends I meet along the way. See you TOMORROW for one last post and thank you .easel , always!

Neither travel nor rain kept me from Day 28 challenge even though painting in the car was a struggle. My paints in the tea tin definitely helped! Excited to finish out the next two days at home. This is a tiny tangerine oil on gesso board.

Early morning Day 26
Last Pepper in the Bag, 5"x7" oil on gesso board. Today I included may value check photos. I do this most every time I paint towards the end to compare my painting with the sill life. This one wasn't too far off, but this helps to find the places you are way off on value. "Color gets the credit, but value does all the work!" Right, 😄

Day 25 challenge has me finishing up these grapes in a silver bowl. I was really want to move past this today, but the problem with still life is you can't take it down until you're finished! Another problem is that this is larger than I have been painting these daily paintings, but my reason was this thrifted vintage gold leaf frame that I picked up at an estate sale. As much as I dislike painting on Arches oil paper, it has the advantage of becoming any size you want! Happy painting for 5 more days!

Day 24 challenge brought little time, but more work on these Grapes in Silver Tray, oil on oil paper. This one still needs some work and it is an odd size as I picked up an odd sized frame at an estate sale. Far from frame worthy at this point, but I am loving trying my hand at grapes. I was lucky enough to claim .graves.art recent painting with grapes so when it arrives I will love comparing! Happy Tuesday!

Day 23 challenge may be headed for the trash. While I like my still life set up, Arches oil paper is not my favorite and this painting is way too big for daily painting so not sure this one will make it. I may try again with fresh eyes tomorrow. Meanwhile, I wanted you to have something beautiful to look at so included tonight's sunset❤️
