Behind the bubble wrap…

While we’re taking our annual August summer break, new arrivals are already making their way into the gallery.

We can’t wait to unwrap them and share them with you when we reopen on Thursday, September 3.

A fresh collection from Debo Groover has arrived just in time for the final week before our August summer break.

Filled with joyful color, playful birds, blooming gardens, and one unforgettable horse, these newest paintings remind us why her work has become such a favorite with collectors.

Every charm holds a memory.

Passed from one generation to the next, these treasured charms belonged to our client’s mother and grandmother.

Tom carefully hand-stitched each charm to a hand-wrapped silk mat so the collection could be beautifully displayed today while remaining completely accessible for the future.

One of the things we love most about custom framing is finding a way to honor both the objects and the stories behind them.

One of the nicest things we’ve heard from several first-time visitors recently…

That made us smile because that’s exactly what we hope people discover when they visit the gallery.

These hand-blown intertwined glass candle holders by Michael Hudson have become one of your favorite gifts for weddings, anniversaries, and life’s special milestones. Each one is individually created, so no two are ever exactly alike. And Michael incorporates a wide range of glass colors in his creations.

Some gifts are enjoyed for a season.

Others become part of someone’s home for years to come.

This week my dining room table has become project headquarters.

For the next phase of a large corporate art installation, we’re working across 12 floors! Yep! That means selecting images from our client’s photography collection, determining image sizes, choosing frame profiles, and planning how each corridor and gathering space will tell its own visual story.

One of the things I enjoy most about projects like this is that there isn’t a formula. Every floor, corridor, and gathering space deserves its own thoughtful approach. That’s what makes each installation unique.

One fact that still amazes me… this phase alone includes more than 2,500 linear feet of wall space to thoughtfully plan and design.

I’m looking forward to sharing what I can over the coming months as the project begins to take shape.
