Here is an example of my inspiration board for my home. I am sharing it through the program I use with clients called Wecora. It is a great way for clients to log in and give me feedback on pictures. What they like and what they don't like.

The inspiration boards are always the first step in design. It tells me the preferred style of architecture and furnishings.

Designer, Kirsten Stanisich added a simple molding to the base molding to elevate the look. It’s a great example of how one doesn’t have to get rid of the old to meld with the new.

For those who asked…I guess it’s a hack. Some people cut up pool noodles and others pipe insulation but I just chose to use hair bands.
I took off the left side of the pleat to expose the hair band. Can you see it? It’s black so it is hard to see. That was on purpose. There are two bands with a small space between to accommodate the right side of the left pleat and the left side of the right pleat. Each double set is 3 1/2 inches apart so the pleats are consistently the same size.

Showing your patriotism on this 4th of July weekend can take many forms. Changing out a pillow in favor of the red, white and blue is perfectly acceptable. Of course, I am flying the colors outside as well. 🇺🇸

A quick change it’s seat covers can create an entirely different look for your dining room. These chairs used to have orange and rust colored upholstery fabric and I covered them with this beautiful blue and white for a client. Now they are updated and contemporary.
