How I made the Hummingbirds. I started with sculpting styrofoam overlaying it with a mixture of paper mache clay to form the body. I used toothpicks for the beak and layered printed vinyl and textured vinyl sandwiched in between clear vinyl for the wings. I used black vinyl tubing to attach the bird's body to a garden steak. I then clear-coated the bird and its wings with a waterproofing spray.

It's been a while since I've added to my design center. I have been busy. My latest pastime, creating flying birds. Why? Because they are fun and give me countless hours of joy as well as keeping me sane during this pandemic.

Blue Faux Suede and Brocade

This handbag is one of my favorites. Similar to theDouble Flap handbag this bag is larger and so versatile and has so many compartments, your never going to run out of room. It has a Double Zippered foldover flap for easy access with a full zipper closure to make your valuables that much more secure. Inside it is fully lined with Two zippered pockets and topped off with a very adequate 5 Credit Card/ID slot and money pouch. This deep and wide crossover shoulder bag has a nice comfortable strap plenty long enough to easily slide over your head or shoulder. It is a nice size 10” tall x 14” wide x 4” deep. Perfect for packing everything you would need to take on a long trip or if your like me tones of everyday stuff. It is made of Soft Blue Faux Suede trim and a nice complementary Blue and Tan Brocade body. It is embellished with metal studs, matching tassels outside and in. Again all my handbags are one of a kind originals made with care and pride.

Valour and Brocade

Valour is one of those lovely old fabrics that never seem to go out of style especially when paired with a nice matching brocade fabric. This handbag is medium sized but plenty big for everything you need. It has two very roomy pockets, one in the front and one in the back. The front pocket also has an additional zippered pocket to give another secure place for a phone, wallet or both. Inside it is fully lined and has 4 nice deep side pockets. The top has a zippered closure with fun brass zipper pulls and brass accents. It has a nice wide comfortable shoulder strap long enough to slip over head or just dangle over your shoulder. It is 11’ x 11’ and 2 ½” deep. It's a nice soft blue color with a blue and tan brocade geometrical design. It will make a very stylish and a fun addition to your purse collection.. After all you can never have too many purses. As always it is a one of a kind creation and made with love, caring and pride. Paisley with Pearl Jewels

I love Paisley. Must be from my hippy days which makes this Hipo Hobo Handbag such a delight. Green is also my favorite color. So earthy and lush you can't help but be dazzled by all its swerles and pearl jeweled accents. This roomy hobo, shoulder, crossbody, tote, handbag encompusses it all. It is very roomy and versatile. It has a place for everything and is loaded with essential like the double zippered front flap, under flap expandable pouch and inside zippered pocket and built in Credit Card and ID slots. It has an adjustable shoulder strap and tasseled zipper pulls. The handbag is made of Faux Green Suede and Cream and Green Paisley Sunbrella material. It is adorned with pearl jeweled sets to add just a little whimsical flair. I so enjoyed making this purse that I was finished in no time. It is 12 ½’ wide x 11’ tall and 3” deep. I kinda hate to sell it but I won't have room for my next creation if I don't. I hope you, the new proud owner enjoys its attributes as much as I did in making it.
