We know you've all been patiently waiting to hear news of the Holiday Barn Sale. It may bring coal in our stocking, but we have decided to NOT have a sale this year. We are still working on emptying what we call the "paper trailer" and the "barn wood section". It just isn't going to happen in time to make the deadline. Sorry to disappoint, but we will try to make it happen one more time in 2025. Check our ebay store, djant99, if you're looking for unique holiday gifts.

THANK YOU! As we're counting our blessings this week, we have all of you who came to the barn sale yesterday at the top of our list! We had a beautiful day, a great crowd, so many sales and even raised enough money from the kid's hot drink stand to feed a mother & child for ONE YEAR! We now have a ton of space and a bunch of great memories with laughter & fun. So many great items found new homes. If you missed the kid's red-neck trampoline and jumping off the roof of the shed, then you really missed a smile. :) You can continue to follow us on ebay at djant99. We haven't fully answered the question, "Will there be another Holiday Barn Sale next year?" So until then, have a blessed holiday of THANKFULNESS!

When I was moaning about how tired I was from getting ready for the Holiday Barn Sale, Dan reminded me that my grandmother would probably have been happy to trade places as her "homemaking aids" weren't really that helpful. But they sure are decorative and simple reminders that life is good (& easy). Dan worked on the ranch today and didn't have to hitch horses to anything. Now you could plant flowers in these pieces of equipment. (Note doors & windows are great decorative items as well). See you Saturday, November 18 from 9-3. ONE DAY ONLY--NO EARLY SALES

Yesterday we let the elves pick their favs and today the staff shopped...er, I mean picked their favs. "IF" these items last until Saturday, November 18, you're welcome to shop for your favs, too. Wouldn't that slab of walnut make a beautiful coffee table? We haven't even talked books or paper items this week. You got ONE DAY ONLY to come and shop til you drop.

Today the elves have picked a few of their favorites. One picked the frame because her Grandpa was in the picture. There's an animal lover among the group, along with a cowboy who needs a saddle stand. A bit of stained glass from the artist elf and of course snow shoes for the North Pole. The week has finally arrived and we are down to the final boxes. Remember the Holiday Barn Sale is ONLY ONE DAY, this Saturday, November 18th. We've loaded up the trailer with over 500 frames. Some are great for large family photos, others for a new mirror in an old frame, or the perfect pet picture. Buy one or buy the whole trailer! (Please!) There are frames from every decade; oak & gold, plaster, brass, bubble glass, and triple deep walnut. You won't want to miss this sale. NO EARLY SALES--NO FRIDAY SALES. Saturday from 9-3 Even the storage trailer will be for sale.

You won't have to get up with the chickens in order to get to the barn sale but we do have all you need to fix a country breakfast. Eggs fresh from the crate to the egg cup. Cowboy coffee in a granite pot. Waffles or toast and you can fry the bacon in a Guardian Ware pan. Serve it hot on Blue Willow china. Is your mouth watering? "Pieces" of the past quilt area have been "patched" into the main building. It's been a "pins-taking" process but I think it fits "seamlessly" into place. Sorry, I just couldn't help myself, I had to "needle" your funny bone. Only ONE DAY to shop, Saturday, November 18th. "Sew" we hope to see you soon.

The Wednesday morning Elf staff meeting is taking a turn toward panic! So much to do, and so little time to do it. But we do love sorting, cleaning, pricing, painting, hauling, moving, cooking, moving it again, folding, and packaging all the STUFF. One elf was heard to say, "Every time I go through the barn sale, I find something that I've never seen before." So I guess we'll go one more year. Come join the elves on Saturday, November 18 from 9-3 as you find things you've never seen before (some we've never seen before either 😊).

These are a few of the "new" items that we have purchased, acquired or just plain found in the storage trailer. Come see the items that are filling the shelves and empty spaces from last year. Wednesday Staff meeting reveals the elves are restless. Let's get this show on the road! One quote, "I can't wait to be with my cousins! It's all about the cousin time!" (There are 14 cousins!) These friendly(?) faces will be at the hot cocoa stand for charity in the newly open space. Come see what they are raising money for.
