I’m not going to lie, I was a little nervous to make this set. I was given pretty much free rein with one condition: it needed to be BOLD and flashy, for a little cowgirl who wears a lot of turquoise and pink.

This idea popped in my mind and I put so much pressure on myself to bring it to life perfectly. I spent a whole day making the custom snow leopard hardware alone, and I believe I really hit a home run with how it all came together! 🤩

I don’t usually warranty my sets because my wire is extremely strong and rarely do I have stones come off. I’ve had people send me pictures of their tack set scraping a metal barrel that they slammed into and everything was still intact! This breast collar, however, was one of the first ones I ever did and there was a couple stones missing. So I fixed it up, added some lacing, and now she looks brand new!

I’m calling this one “Barbie in the Safari” because an iconic tack set needs an iconic name. Trying to find natural stones to go with the leopard conchos I made from scratch was a challenge in itself but they ended up matching perfectly.
