We want to take a moment to recognize the wonderful partnership The Sewing Works has shared with Stitched on 2nd and to wish Janet all the very best as she begins her next chapter. We are grateful for the creativity, friendship, and community we’ve shared along the way.
While this marks a change, it certainly isn’t the end of sewing together! ❤️
We’re excited to continue moving forward with classes, creativity, laughter, and the friendships that have made this such a special sewing community — at the same great location, now all under The Sewing Works umbrella.
And the familiar faces you know and love aren’t going anywhere! Corrine, Suzanne, Luanne, Kellie, and Gilbert will all continue to be here, ready to welcome you and help with your sewing, quilting, machine, and creative needs.
We’re looking forward to this next chapter and to continuing to Create • Inspire • Belong together.

❤️ BIG NEWS FROM STITCHED QUILT SHOP ❤️
Dear Stitched Friends,
After a lot of thought, conversations, and more than a few tears, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Stitched Quilt Shop on December 19, 2026.
We want to make one thing very clear: Stitched is not closing because the shop hasn’t been successful. Quite the opposite! Thanks to all of you, Stitched has grown into a successful shop and an amazing quilting community that we are incredibly proud of.
The reason is much more personal—Janet is moving away, and after considering all of our options, we’ve decided that closing Stitched is the right decision for us.
We know you’ll have questions about gift cards, classes, machines, upcoming events, the closing sale, and what happens next. Suzanne and I recorded a video answering as many of those questions as we could. Please watch the video attached to this post for all the details.
Most importantly, thank you. ❤️
When we look back on Stitched, it won’t be the fabric or the quilts we remember most—it will be you. The friendships, classes, retreats, show-and-tells, laughter, and customers who became friends are what made Stitched so special.
And we’re not saying goodbye yet! We still have several months together, and we plan to fill them with plenty of quilting, shopping, sales, laughter, and fun.
Thank you for making Stitched something we will always be proud of.
