Last night at 8:30 PM. Kids are asleep. The house is finally quiet… and here we are stapling 180 forms.

180 bag tag and merchandise order forms, all getting ready to go out for the start of our school year fundraising season!

Sometimes owning a small business looks like designing fun products and seeing your ideas come to life. Other nights, it looks like taking over the kitchen table and getting everything ready long after bedtime.

It's a lot of work, but we're so excited to kick off another fundraising season and partner with schools to give back to their communities!

A little late-night behind-the-scenes look at Big Blue 3Design. This is small business life!

From our family to yours.

Same peg dolls. Completely different kind of play. 😂

Apparently, we need a peg toy that can keep up with this kind of play 😂

New peg toy creation in the works… 👀

Stay tuned… 🚗

A little behind the scenes at Big Blue 3Design...

When you shop with us, you’re not just buying something that came off a 3D printer.

Every product we sell starts with an idea from our family and is brought to life by Lucas. From designing each piece and working through the details to testing, making changes, and perfecting it, he puts his own time, creativity, and hard work into every product we make.

So when you see something at our booth, you won't find that exact design sitting in a library for anyone to download and print. It was designed right here by Lucas.

That's what makes our products so special to us. They're not just something we printed — they're something we created.

And that’s something we’re really proud of.

Big Blue 3Design started as a little family idea, and it has grown into something our whole family gets to be a part of. From designing and printing to packaging orders and helping at craft shows, there’s truly a little piece of our family in everything we do.

When you shop small, you’re not just supporting a business — you’re supporting a family, a dream, and a whole lot of hard work.

From our family to yours, thank you for supporting Big Blue 3Design!

💙 Hi, everyone! Meet the Family Behind Big Blue 3Design!

We thought it was time to say a proper hello and introduce ourselves! We're a busy little family here in Merrill, Wisconsin, and we're so excited to share a little piece of our world with you.

Our story started on a rollerblading date night when my husband came up with the idea of getting a 3D printer. The name Big Blue comes from the blue house he built for our family, making this business extra special to us. 🏡💙

We're a family of six with four kiddos and two furry family members, so life is always a little busy, a little chaotic, and full of love! Somewhere in between raising our kids and keeping up with everyday life, we're building this little business together.

Our very first idea was personalized 3D-printed bag tags, and from there, we've grown to create all kinds of fun, custom products to unique gifts.

The best part? Our kids are part of the fun, too! Each of them gets to add their own little personalized touch to our business, and they love helping us package orders. It's become a family effort, and we love that they're growing alongside us and learning a little about what goes into running a small business.

One of our favorite things is partnering with local schools or organizations for fundraisers and finding ways to give back to the community we call home. 🏫

We're so happy you're here and can't wait to share more of what we've been creating. Whether you've been following us for a while or are just finding us, thank you for being part of our journey! Every like, share, and order means so much to our family.

👇 Say hello in the comments! We'd love to get to know you and hear what kinds of personalized products you'd love to see us make next! 💙
