I love working with clients that just get your vibe and trust you! We aren’t done just yet, still have a few more phases to go.
We furnished our first home in the Chicago suburbs over 50 years ago with furniture from Walter E. Smithe. Our son in Chicago has some of that furniture in his home now. When we recently moved back to the Midwest we were delighted to find Walter E. Smithe in Indiana. Our designer Katie Lippens has been stellar. She has exceptional artistic talent and pays attention to every detail. She has done several rooms and they are beyond beautiful. I am home in my beautiful home and really enjoying it.. Katie traveled several hours in bad weather to come to our house and work with us on the design. When the furniture was delivered she arrived with flowers and worked with the extremely professional delivery men, telling them where she wanted everything to be placed. She even helped me place pictures on the walls and went with me to pick out new matting and frames for others so that it all went with the furnishings. This is WAY above and beyond. All through the entire journey Katie has patiently and gracefully guided us and has been a delight to work with. The service team including the people who helped with financing and delivery have been wonderful. We are extremely pleased. The whole experience has exceeded our expectations. Thank you.
