We hope everyone made it through the storm safely! We're very fortunate to be safe and back to work. Our hearts go out to those who have been affected by this storm and are struggling.
If you have have the means, our community neighbors and friends at Matthew's Hope could use some help. Here is a list of some of the donations they're requesting at this time. Matthew's Hope works hard to provide a happier community for us all and we hope you will join us in supporting them.
The tragic weather related disasters around the world, our country, and now right here in our own community, has taken a toll on available resources. In the midst of all the chaos, homegrown grass root nonprofits such as Matthew’s Hope, are often overlooked.
These last several weeks of relentless rain, followed then by Milton, has kicked our behinds financially and with regard to every other needed resource. Money, Food, Clothing, Hygiene, etc…
In just the past 2 days we’ve sheltered 138 homeless men, women and children, provided them showers, clean dry clothing, blankets and pillows, served nearly 700 meals, along with gallons of coffee, juices, and more. This on top of the roughly 1000 touches we experience weekly between our two campuses.
With growth in need surpassing all reasonable projections, and new laws recently being passed by our State Legislators that are criminalizing homelessness, our hands are full and are looking to the communities wecserve to partner with us in our ongoing mission.
need our community more than ever.

Our needs are specific, and we know some feel that we are too picky. Please know how grateful we are for the community support we receive, it just comes down to us understanding our needs, our limited space, manpower, and that we do not have a Thrift Store to sell stuff. We thank you in advance for your understanding and support.
