He was a mechanic who indulged in a side-hobby of welding shop scraps into fanciful metal sculptures. He sold his work under the curious pseudonym "Dathle." When I thought to ask my grandma how he came up with the curious moniker I was charmed by his simple ingenuity - he'd just combined the first 2 letters from each part of his name! I thought this was so very clever. So when I founded Jethco Cre

ations I decided to perpetuate his tradition. In my shop I'd like to offer you some of the creations my hands most love to make. In my world, making is both a privilege and a joy ... and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my creations with you. We genuinely appreciate your attention and patronage. Whale, whale, whale - what have we here? (See what we did there?). We love this whale pattern in particular because it was one of the very first in our pattern library and it was the impetus for our Ocean Critters Collection. Acrylic pours produce such wonderful textures and patterns that are so reminiscent of whales - it's often a perfect match.
