Y'all, 2026 did not start well at all. Jan 1st, I broke my ankle. I also promised my Motor Sgt an awesome cake. Dude, my edible printer decided it didn't want to work. There went my idea right out the window. So he got the 2nd most basic cake I have ever decorated. I was trying not to cry when we brought it to the unit. Y'all, the best carrot cake I've made so far. I added nuts as he wanted. Moist and flavorful. Enjoy your retirement SFC Allen. I really am going to miss you doing my last days in the Army.
