Comeaux Furniture Appliance and Mattress was founded February 1953 in New Orleans by S.W. In 1958 Buddy and his wife Corinne saw potential in a piece of land with a dirt road in the developing suburb of Metairie. In 1959 against the advice of many and with the help of an SBA loan, Buddy and Corinne built a store on that dirt road that is now Veterans Blvd. Over the years, the building has undergon
