It's been a bit since I've finished a project! Felt good to get back to it.

This buffet was a hutch bottom that I previously upcycled the top of. (You can find that project on my page also) 😊

While I loved the shape of this piece, it was just a tad boring to me. So I decided on some beautiful wood appliques to give it some dimension.

Then I painted it in this amazing custom color using Dixie Belle paints. Warm grey with green/blue undertones. I then did a color wash to bring out all the new details! ❤

To finish it off I sealed it with a satin finish polyurethane.

The hardest part is letting them go 🥰
