Hi friends and welcome to my page for Baker Barn Quilts!
I have been creating barn quilts for a number of years and the question “Do you have a page?” has popped up more than once. I may be a little late to the party, but I am finally jumping on the Facebook bandwagon and starting a page to share my projects, events where my quilts can be seen and so on.
This page will also serve as a great way to communicate with me if you are interested in purchasing a hand painted piece from me!
If you’re new here you may be wondering who I am and what are barn quilts. I’m happy to share some background with you!
Below is a quick write up about me and how I became interested in this form of art. Attached is a photo of me with the barn quilt I created for the Audrain County Agribusiness group in 2023. This quilt was presented to the 2022 Dale H. Schnarre Rural Citizen award recipients, the Sydenstricker Family. Currently this beautiful quilt is displayed at the Sydenstricker Genetics facility located in Mexico, MO.
Thanks for stopping by!

“Chelsea Reagan-Baker is a self-taught barn quilt artist residing in Audrain County. Born and raised in neighboring Montgomery County, her interest in the art of quilting was spurred at an early age by the handmade quilts crafted by her great-grandmother Lorene Reagan. Not patient enough for quilting and already an accomplished painter, Chelsea was drawn to the artistry and beauty of barn quilts as an alternative to stitching.
Her barn quilts can be seen scattered throughout Montgomery and Audrain counties as well as Centralia, Moberly, and Lexington, MO. She has donated quilts to various charitable auctions in the area including the Monroe County Cancer Supporters, Montgomery County Cancer Supporters and the Audrain County Dream Factory.
In addition, she has created five barn quilts for Audrain County Agribusiness which were presented to recipients of the Dale H. Schnarre Rural Citizen Award. Currently she is working on a barn quilt for this year’s event – stay tuned for the final reveal next week!
Chelsea specializes in traditional barn quilt patterns and colors but creates originally designed pieces as well. Made for both interior and exterior display, her quilts come in a variety of sizes, from 1ft X 1ft to 8ft X 8ft and in between. Chelsea’s barn quilts are hand painted using high quality materials that ensure your barn quilt will be a colorful addition to your farm, home, or business for years to come.”
