IIDA South Florida Chapter IIDA is the association for the Commercial Interior Design profession IIDA is the Commercial Interior Design Association with a global reach.

We support design professionals, industry affiliates, educators, students, firms, and their clients through our network of 15,000+ members across 50 countries. IIDA advocates for advancements in education, design excellence, legislation, leadership, accreditation, and community outreach to increase the value and understanding of Interior Design as a profession that enhances business value and positively impacts the health and well-being of people’s lives every day.

We’re officially opening our Call to Committees, and we want to know how you’d like to participate. Whether you have specific talents, unique resources, or a passion for event planning, advocacy, student mentorship, or communications, serving on a committee is the single best way to maximize your membership and make an impact.

October gives us several opportunities to make our design community more supportive: World Mental Health Day on October 10, ADHD Awareness Month, and Dyslexia Awareness Month. 💚

Mental health and neurodiversity are different conversations, but both call for listening, understanding, and making room for different needs and ways of thinking.

At IIDA, we want our community to feel comfortable asking for support and sharing what helps them do their best work. Let’s keep that conversation going beyond October.
