Would you attempt this project with a classroom full of students? 🍩🎨

I finally did—and somehow, the mess did NOT take over the art room! 😂

I divided the class into three organized centers, which kept everything moving smoothly and the mess contained. The students had so much fun creating their own one-of-a-kind donuts, and the finished results look almost good enough to eat!

This lesson was officially a sweet success! 🍩✨

We finally made our donuts with a classroom full of excited little artists—and it was a sweet success!

To keep everything organized, I divided the lesson into three centers. The mess stayed contained, the students stayed engaged, and everyone had so much fun creating their own one-of-a-kind donut.

They absolutely loved this project, and the finished donuts came out AMAZING! I’m so proud of their creativity—and relieved that my plan worked! 😂🍩🎨

As soon as I walked through my front door today, I knew I had to add the finishing touches! 🍩🎨✨

I added a little glue, sprinkled on REAL sprinkles that I brought from home, and sealed everything with a clear glaze… and I am absolutely IN LOVE with the final result! 😍🌈

This was my sample before introducing the project to my students, and now I’m even more excited. I already know my kids are going to LOVE creating their own colorful, one-of-a-kind donuts! 🍩💕

Now comes the real test… making these with a classroom full of excited little artists! 😂🎨 Stay tuned—I’ll definitely keep you updated on how it goes!

Sometimes an idea looks SO GOOD in your head… and then halfway through the process you start thinking, “Ummm… what have I done?!” 😂

That little moment of panic when you’re staring at your project wondering if your “wonderful idea” is actually going to work. 😬

But as an art teacher, I’m constantly reminding my students to TRUST THE PROCESS… so I guess I need to take my own advice! 🤣

Messy? Yes.
Questionable at the moment? Absolutely.
Giving up? NEVER. 🙌🏼

Stay tuned because I have a feeling these are going to turn into something pretty SWEET. 🍩✨
