We work with Amish factories that do some of the finest solid maple, oak, cherry or walnut dining and bedroom furniture. Hi all! I understand how confusing this is because they keep advertising under our name. To clear this up for you here is a statement from Bob Saquet:

The person behind the "sale" is acting unethically and in violation of Massachusetts consumer protection laws. As the owner of Eggers Furniture I chose to retire in November after being in business in Middleboro for 46 years. We held a retirement sale featuring the American made solid wood furniture we were famous for. I then sold an empty building to the new owner. He told me he planned to open a new furniture business under a new name and I wished him luck. He did not buy the name or reputation of Eggers Furniture.

Every thing about the sale is in violation of MGL Chapter 93, section 28A. We have brough this to attention of the Attorney General and are in the process of taking legal action to stop this travesty. He doesn't realize you have just one chance to make a good first impression.

I would like to introduce you all to my dear friend Karen Corinha of Corinha Design. Karen is a truly gifted designer with over 30 years of experience so she will be a great resource for you! If you have ever visited the Newport mansions at Christmastime then you have seen her gorgeous holiday displays! I know so many of you loved our Masterfield Furniture upholstery which is hard to find. She is a Masterfield provider as well as Charleston Forge of which she will be featured in their next magazine! If you or someone you know needs help with a new build, renovation or decorating please talk to Karen. She is so talented and lovely and I just know you will love her!

Can we take a minute to talk about skirts! I've been seeing them slowly making their way back (they have been on my radar since around 2020) and now with the Modern Traditional and Layered English aesthetics in the forefront I think they will become a more prominent feature in homes and furnishings. I know it's not for everyone, but I'm here for it!

Tomorrow, November 29th, we say goodbye to Egger’s Furniture — a place that has been part of the community for generations. As we prepare to close our doors for the very last time, we’re grateful for every customer, every family we’ve furnished, and every memory made along the way.

November 22, 2025 - Robert Saquet, retired owner of Egger's Furniture, and a beloved and respected business leader in town has been named the Grand Marshal of the 65th Annual Middleboro Christmas Parade that will be held on November 29, 2025. The parade will march from HBB Elementary at 1 p.m. to Everett Square and back. Rain date November 30. Shops along the way will be decked out in their Christmas fare and offer tantalizing delights that will continue with Shop Small Under the Stars from 4-7 p.m. Stop in at Rekindled Home on South Main Street for a toddy of hit cider and pick up some undque Christmas gifts.

The parade is just the start of the holiday magic. As the marchers pass, the shops along the route will be beautifully decorated and offering tantalizing treats.

Keep the festive spirit going with Shop Small Under the Stars from 4-7 p.m. Stop by Rekindled Home and their sister shops, The Rustic Rhino , Middleboro Antique Co-op, Revibed and more along South Main and Center streets for a warm mug of hot cider and discover unique Christmas gifts for everyone on your list.
