Saturday night at Donna's PJ Party, Donna hosted a raffle to win this beautiful quilt that was donated to us. We ended up raising $400 for Ryan's Case for Smiles. This money will allow us to purchase Christmas fabric that will be used to make pillowcases. Congratulations to the winner, Kathy!

One more thing- On 10/31 and 11/24 from 11:00-2:00 and 11/25 from 11:00-1:00, we're hosting a pillowcase sew along. Like our other charity groups, no need to sign up- just show up! Hope to see you there and thank you in advance!

We also have a special presentation planned showcasing a special embroidery technique called cutwork. Admission is free, and you'll receive a free cutwork embroidery design just for coming! We received this letter from Sue Worstall, the NE Ohio coordinator for Ryan's Case for Smiles, and we want to thank YOU for all your kind donations throughout the year. We truly could not help the community in the ways we do without you! 🩷

That being said, it's October again, which means it's time to start collecting Christmas pillowcases again! We were able to collect 2,342 pillowcases last year, so our goal this year is to get to 2,500! 😲I know we'll be able to do it!

Starting NOW, we'll be collecting pillowcases through December 5th. Click the link in the comments or in our bio to view the pattern and guidelines! There are other ways to help, too! We're partners with several local schools, and every year we give them fabric to make pillowcases to donate. If you have extra Christmas fabric you'd like to donate for the schools, we'll take that too!

We still have some spots open for our Simply Classic event this weekend! Join us as we make bags that are “simply classic”!

Chris from Simply Classic Bags will be here in the store to teach two different bag workshops; The Zara and the Sorella.
