What's your favorite thing about your corner of Middlebury - Elkhart County - Northern Indiana?

Middlebury may be a small town, but it's filled with hardworking people, rich traditions, beautiful countryside, and neighbors who genuinely care about one another.

From our local shops and restaurants to the Amish farms that help shape the character of this area, there's something special about life here.

We're also fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful communities like Shipshewana, Bristol, Elkhart, Goshen, Wakarusa, and Nappanee, each with their own charm, festivals, and small-town spirit.

Whether it's summer celebrations, fall festivals, or simply stopping to chat with familiar faces around town, this area has a way of making people feel connected.

As someone who refinishes and restores furniture from my home workshop, I'm grateful for every client who trusts me with a treasured family heirloom, a beloved antique, or a piece that deserves a second chance.

Many of the stories behind these pieces are just as meaningful as the furniture itself.

Thank you to everyone who supports local businesses like mine. I feel incredibly fortunate to live, work, and create in a community that values craftsmanship, history, and helping one another.

❤️ Home is Middlebury, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

SOLD!

These nightstands are the perfect example of patience, reinvention, and waiting for the right buyer.

Eighteen months after I brought them home from an auction, they finally found their forever home.

What started as a single desk was carefully transformed into a pair of nightstands. My first vision for them featured a deep, rich green finish with gold appliqués for the holiday season.

After six months, I decided to give them a fresh direction—adding an embossed design, repainting them in classic Annie Sloan US Original White, and updating the hardware.

Sometimes a piece needs more than one chapter before its story is complete. I'm so glad these beauties finally found the perfect place to call home.

Thank you to Birds Gotta Fly Vintage for a place where buyers can give vintage and antique furniture a new beginning!

Just restored/refinished this beauty for the Historic Courthouse in downtown Goshen. Sanded, stained, top coated. I used a blend of Minwax honey & mahogany to match this piece to existing furniture in the courtroom.
