I’m all set up (6 hours later) and ready for my last time selling at shows and festivals. I’m going to miss all the wonderful friends I’ve made over the years but I won’t miss my back aching from setting up and tearing down, lol

This picture was taken 19 years ago at the Bob Evans Farm Festival. My sister Cindy, Bob Evans, and myself. It was always a pleasure when Bob would stop by my booth. He loved this festival and I’m sure it brought back memories of his farm, the original “Sausage Shop” just below the homestead, raising his family on the beautiful grounds….I’m going to miss all the wonderful memories of selling my work “down on the farm”…..

From one art form to another… North Carolina beach wedding cake this past weekend to the Bob Evans Farm Festival this coming weekend, I’ve put down the spatula and pastry bags and picked up the paint brushes for a non-stop painting marathon! Whew! 😃

I’m all set up and ready for my last “hoorah” at the Backwoods Fest. I’m going to miss this show but not the 7 hours it takes to set up. lol

It’s Backwoods Fest week and I have a BIG announcement…. I’m posting these pictures of one of my first Backwoods Fest booths and a couple pictures of “the Jumper Girls” where the show business began in Brookfield, Connecticut around 1998 (I think, lol). All this to say… after the Bob Evans Farm Festival next month I’m retiring from the “show/festival circuit”. I will still be painting and crafting, just not selling at shows. This page will remain open and I’ll post things for sale to be picked up here at my studio in Middleport. If you’ve been a customer of mine in the last 20+ years and plan to visit the Backwoods or Bob Evans festivals, please stop in and see me. I’m going to miss it terribly, but it’s time …… THANK YOU ALL!!!❤️

My hubby has horrible allergies but they’ve been nicely managed by enjoying local honey. I plant sunflowers, zinnias, and other pollinators in the summer to keep the “honey bees” happy! ☺️. A regular customer of mine requested “bee” buckets to be picked up at Backwoods Fest and I think they turned out “bee”utiful! 😁
