Team Bevans was out on the trail cheering, hydrating, and high-fiving everyone for the Conquer the Canal Race Series!

We had the absolute best time keeping the runners fueled up and motivated at our aid station.
The energy was incredible, but the absolute best part of the day is knowing that this event supports vital local charities and non-profit organizations right here in New Castle County.

Basement updates can be tricky, but this recent transformation shows exactly what a difference the right finishes can make. We gave this lower level a total overhaul to turn it into a bright, welcoming space the whole family can enjoy!

Here’s how we transformed the space:
We painted away the neon pink and dark black trim, replacing them with beautiful, modern tones

Fresh Flooring & Trim: Out with the old carpet and in with beautiful, durable wood-look flooring that flows seamlessly through every room. Crisp white trim and brand-new doors completely polished off the look

🚿 Tub-to-Shower Conversion: We ditched the old tub and bulky sliding doors for a low-profile walk-in shower pan, instantly opening up the entire room

🧩 Custom Focal Point: The stunning geometric, dark marble-look hexagon tile niche adds the perfect pop of high-end texture against the large-format grey wall tile

🪞 Modern Organic Details: A crisp white vanity, a sleek black-trimmed arched mirror, and textured glass lighting fixtures completely brightened and modernized the space

🪵 Timeless Texture: Keeping the classic white beadboard wainscoting on the walls perfectly balances the modern elements with a cozy, grounded feel

🌲 Fence Transformation Part 1:From Closed-In to Open-Air! 🌲
Check out this recent project in Middletown! We took this deck from dated and heavy to sleek and modern.
The homeowner wanted to trade those bulky wood pickets for a view that actually lets the backyard shine. By switching to a wood post and wire system, we’ve completely opened up the sightlines without sacrificing any safety.
The Process:
✅ Cleared the View: Removed the old, weathered pickets that were blocking the natural light.
✅ Structural Precision: Installed a streamlined post and rail system for a clean, "Modern Organic" profile.
✅ Wire Infill: Swapped out the vertical slats for high-tension wire—it practically disappears into the landscape!
