I stitched The Flight by Lori Brechlin
I found this funky frame at Hobby Lobby. I popped the chicken out and painted it black. The original design was rectangular so I marked the square opening on the frame and moved the bat in a bit. Then I just sprinkled in more stars. After I laced it, I used some popsicle sticks to hold the stitch in place. I can't stop staring at her....she is such a love!

The Needle Minder of the Month Club by Bev { Flamingo Toes } is in full swing! This might be my favorite thing this year. I love a mystery and this club has already been crazy fun! The club includes an exclusive needle minder each month along with a cross stitch design, an embroidery design along with coordinating DMC floss. I'm making small projects with the cross stitch and I'm going to make a quilt out of the embroidery. I'll be sharing all the details on my finishing over on the blog, but the club just started in July! Join us now and get caught up so you can stitch along with us all year!
