Here’s a possible goal or resolution for 2026. Why not teach someone new to bead a little something? Maybe they make just that one thing…or maybe it makes them hungry for more. (Regardless, it can be a great way to share what you have made…and learn more about each other…because we all know that the conversations we have while beading can go all over the place.)

A spiral rope was one of the first things many of us made as new beaders…because it’s nice and easy. Look at this version that uses a pretty 4 mm bead on the outside loops. Isn’t that a nice (sparkly) elevation to the simple spiral rope? Use fire-polished crystals, pearls, or any 4 mm. This designer uses 8/o seed beads in the core, making it easier to needle through (for all experience levels).

New pattern from Deb Roberti…

I’m always fascinated at how the different colors/finishes affect the design. The size of the flowers seem to change depending on the colors/accent colors, don’t they?

I can see red and green for poinsettias. All silver and gold. All whites and pearls. Or all one color with finish differences (matte/shiny).

New pattern finally up! I know it has been a while. Use size 8/0 Miyuki (rocaille) seed beads, 4mm beads and SuperDuo beads in as many colors as you please to make my new Daisy Chain Bracelet. Directions are also included for using MiniDuo beads instead of SuperDuo beads for a tighter weave and another version substituting size 11/0 Miyuki (rocaille) seeds beads for size 8/0 seed beads to create a MiniDuo bracelet with some dimension.
