The Chain Reaction Shawlette is a long, triangular shawlette/neckerchief worked from side to side in three colors of Emma’s Yarn Practically Perfect Sock. It’s a fun project to keep your needles busy and your neck cozy as the weather turns cooler.

We've had a small update to our birthday celebration schedule: Our Prize Wheel Day has been rescheduled to this Saturday, October 17! In-store only, make a purchase and spin the wheel for a fun prize! We have so many great yarns, notions, accessories & more, including the special curated trunk show from 29 Bridges! Our brick & mortar will be open our usual hours, 11AM-5PM!

Our mini KAL is winding down, so if you've been knitting along join us on Wednesday, October 7 from 10AM-12PM to show off your project (whether you're finished or not, we'd love to see you)! You can join us in-person at the shop or from home via Zoom, and pattern designer Cori Eichelberger (Irocknits) will be tuning in from her home studio!

We're celebrating our 10th birthday all month long, and this morning on Inspire Me Erin introduced one of the things we've been most excited about - our very special, LIMITED EDITION yarn, Woolemina Sport! Created for us by Artfil Yarns, this sport weight yarn is 100% Non-superwash Merino Rambouillet wool, with 311 yards per skein. Bouncy, squishy, with awesome stitch definition, great for a variety of projects. And the colors were inspired by our amazing Dances staff! We've rounded up a variety of projects that just take 1 skein, but don't wait - quantities are limited, and we sadly won't be able to restock, so grab your favorite(s) TODAY!

We wanted everyone to be aware that we are closing EARLY tomorrow, October 1! Our brick & mortar shop will be open 11AM-3PM, to allow staff to prepare for our Birthday Kickoff Party that evening; there will be no Thursday evening social stitch group. It's always exciting when a brand-new yarn hits the shop, and this is one we've been anticipating! Shop favorite Blue Sky Fibers has expanded their Woolstok line with a new base: Tweed Light! Soft and lofty, this single ply, fi*****ng weight fine highland wool yarn is full of character. These 50g hanks are available in earthy colors with neutral flecks of Donegal. Great for colorwork, cables, ribbing, and textured stitches. As usual, Blue Sky has great pattern support, including the FREE Timeless Tweed Hat by Michael Vloedman (takes just one skein of Woolstok Tweed Light)!
