Welcome to my page, a "Keeping Room" of sorts, where I am happy to share my unique, one-of-a-kind designs and creations for your home or shoppes. Born and raised in New England, I am a lover of the four seasons, thus, constantly inspired to create for those special times. My design inspiration is country and primitive, with great detail added to my creations. I love hand sewing including embroidery, cross-stitching, knitting, crocheting, applique, quilting, etc.

Before and after! I love to upcycle olde vintage items and make them into rustic pretties 🧡
This olde boot puller has beautiful rustic appeal. I made a small pouch, added a vintage doily with a button, fall floral sprigs and a raffia bow. A sawtooth picture hanger is attached for displaying on a wall or door. Love this one!

I’m making a basketful of “woolies” for our upcoming Fall Open House/Farm Market at Hillside Tree Farm in West Milan, NH. A “woolie” is a mini pillow made from small scraps of wool. They can be used as a pin cushion, a shelf accent, a bowl filler or a plant pal (prop it next to a houseplant). I’ll share more pics later with different themes and colors.

My second completed shutter slats project is a fabric pouch with a stamped verse “Take time to enjoy the simple things in life”. The pouch is simply glued onto three slats that are wired together, then it is stuffed with silk flowers. I added a stained cheesecloth scarf and rusty bells to give it a primitive look.

Here is the first completed project made from my recycled shutter slats. I wired three of them together to create a prop for the woolen pumpkins and “The Patch” sign. Sticks from the woods make perfect rustic stems and silk flowers add color, dimension and visual interest. A wire loop is added at the top for hanging. I can’t wait to finish the second design. Stay tuned ….
