Myer the Florist, or The Greenhouses at Myers, as we have been referring to ourselves the last two years, will not be opening our doors this year.
The store, founded in 1950 by Barbara and Clifford Myer and guided by Bob and Dori Stewart from the 1980's to the present day, has closed permanently, just prior to what would have been our 75th year.
We have enjoyed the opportunity to bring happiness and beauty to the community for so many years. We have provided employment for 132 people since 1982. We have had many exceptional people on our staff. One of our greatest rewards has been to see the impact the opportunity to work here, in the field of horticulture, has had on so many individuals.
We will miss the greenhouses and our fantastic customers. It is simply time to move on. Thank you for your patronage all those years.
