A New Chapter — Passing the Torch
Dear Friends and Clients,
For more than 67 years, flooring has been more than a business for our family; it has been a tradition built on customer service, quality installations, and relationships that last. That tradition began in 1959, when my father, Frank Prete, started his flooring business and
established the principles that have guided us ever since: take care of people, stand behind your work, and never compromise on quality.
In 1992, while I was still enrolled at Fairfield University, I entered the business to continue what my father had established over the years. That same year, Ultimate Interiors was born. Over the past 34 years, it has been my privilege to serve homeowners, builders, designers, businesses, and organizations, many of whom became friends. Some of you have allowed us to serve multiple generations of your families, and that trust has meant more to me than words can say.
After much thought and reflection, the time has come for a new chapter. Personally and professionally, I have been presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that allows me to stay connected to the industry I have known my entire life, but in a different capacity.
With that in mind, I wanted to ensure that the friends and clients who have supported Ultimate Interiors for so long would continue to have a trusted resource. That is why I am pleased to be passing the torch to NHV Painters / NHV Flooring, who will be continuing flooring operations from our longtime location.
I have spent time getting to know their team and believe they share many of the same values that have always been important to us: personal service, quality workmanship, and a commitment to doing things the right way. As part of the transition, I will be helping to introduce NHV Painters / NHV Flooring to many of the vendors and resources we have relied on, helping provide continuity and care for the clients we have been fortunate to serve.
While this is a significant change, it is not the end of Ultimate Interiors. The business will remain active as I refocus in a consultative direction.
What will never change is my gratitude for you. Thank you for 34 incredible years with Ultimate Interiors and for being part of a family flooring tradition that began back in 1959.
Your trust, loyalty, referrals, and friendships have made this journey possible, and I will always be grateful.
With sincere gratitude,
Buddy Prete
