COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT:

You will not find me working at my office location in Milford during extremely cold temperatures. Frigid working conditions have led to minor frostbite in my extremities. I will be working from my home office until I regain feeling in my fingers and toes.🥶

On a completely unrelated topic, I have started a GoFundMe. These funds will go directly toward the electricity bill at the office. Due to the severe lack of insulation in the buildings walls, it's a struggle to keep the temperature anywhere above a balmy 50 degrees. Your donations are greatly appreciated.🤑

While lots of people are posting first day of school pics, I thought I'd do something a bit different.

Been thinking about two pretty major mile markers in my life recently.

1st - 10 years ago, I decided to take a chance & started my own Interior Design Company.

2nd - 5 years ago, I took the plunge & decided to purchase a "brick & mortar" location for my business in Milford, IA.

Both were very challenging for different reasons. There have been times that it has been difficult, downright tough, seemingly impossible even. I've had my doubts (big ones) and have broken down into tears many times. Owning & operating your own business isn't all sunshine and rainbows.

However, I have persevered and have been lifted up and supported by so many. Family, friends, community, business partners and clients. All of YOU have made it possible for me to run a successful business and I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.

Thank you for believing in me.

Thank you for trusting in me.

Thank you for being my true friends.

Thank you for loving me for who I am.

Thank you for seeing the potential in me that maybe I didn't even see in myself.

I have owned and operated my own business for a decade now, and I just want everyone to know how thankful I am for the part you have played in it's success.
