Something I don't think people always realize about being a small business owner is just how much the little things can mean. ❤️
As a mom of 3 young kids, I'm juggling A LOT - often on minimum sleep and sometimes what feels like basically nonexistent sleep 😂. Between the kids, work, the house, and everything that comes with running a small business, there are definitely days where I'm wondering if I'm actually getting anything done.
So when I get a text or message saying, "You sold some playdough!" it can literally make my whole day. 🥹
Because behind that little notification is a real person who saw something I made and thought, my kid would love this.
Someone actually chose something I made for their child to play with, create with, and enjoy. And knowing that the things I've spent so much time making and working on are actually being received and used by other families means more to me than I can really put into words.
It's easy to look at a small business from the outside and just see the products. But there's a whole lot happening behind the scenes to get those products onto the shelves, especially when you're building it around a family.
So every sale feels like a little reminder that what I'm doing matters. That someone sees value in what I'm creating. That all the late nights, messy counters, playdough-covered everything, and trying to squeeze business work into whatever pockets of time I can find are actually leading somewhere.
And honestly, I'm just really grateful. ❤️
To everyone who has bought a bucket, picked something up from one of our stockists, shared a post, or told a friend about Little Crafters Co...
Thank you. Truly.
Those little "you sold some playdough!" messages probably mean a whole lot more to me than you realize. 🥹🩷
