 Something special is coming up on November 1 as we celebrate our two year anniversary back in Milledgeville. I will tell you more about that after I give you a little backstory about J&K and when we started. Back in 1993 in a little block building on the right hand side of the road going towards the lake we started J&K Fleas Antiques. It is currently a Mexican grocery store now just so you know where it was. We were there for six years before a job change for John made us have to move to Morgan County. We have been in Morgan County for 30 years and we were also in Putnam County and Jones County when we expanded to seven stores at one time. In 2022 or 2023, Star the manager of the current Milledgeville store, started asking me to come back to Milledgeville and open another store. I told her to find us a big building with cheap rent, high visibility and plenty of parking and I would come back. That wasn’t asking for much was it??????? It took her two years to find our spot, but it was worth the wait. It is the perfect spot and I couldn’t be happier to be back in Milledgeville!!!

Now to show my appreciation I will be at the shop on Nov. 1st from 12-5 for y’all to meet me if you never have, and be there for y’all to “beat me up” on my prices!! Yep. Come “wheel and deal” with the boss!!! The other vendors will be offering at least 10% off on items in their booths as well. We won’t be opposed to calling the vendors if 10% off still won’t work. Not saying we can get them any lower but for our anniversary we sure will try!!!

We do plan to have some refreshments and a drawing for a $50.00 Gift Certificate. If we sell a bunch on the 1st. I might giveaway two $50.00 Gift Certificates! So come see us on Sunday Nov. 1st. and see how low you can get me to go on that treasure you have had your eye on!!!

Hey y’all!! We have been BUSY this week at J&K Fleas An'Tiques of Milledgeville!

We received a BIG assortment of Longaberger baskets. The nutcracker decorations and snack and cup plates are perfect for adding a festive touch to your home and entertaining family and friends this holiday season!

Now, let’s talk about that fence!

Several customers have asked why a fence is being installed across the front of the store. Wellllll… Ssshhh! 🤫 It’s a SECRET! And let me tell y’all, it’s something I am personally VERY excited about! I sure hope y’all will be just as excited as I am!
You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out what’s going on! We can’t wait to share more with y’all!

Did a re-stock today. One trailer load to be exact. Please come visit the shop and see the new pieces in person. Pictures don’t always do the piece justice. Also we don’t always get notifications from our business pages when you are *shopping* online and asking questions. We don’t mind the questions but we aren’t always notified you have asked a question.
We have four stores to run and four pages to monitor so sometimes we just aren’t able to go
looking for questions.

I took pictures of all the new pieces we brought in. I also took a few pictures of some of our older inventory pieces that I really like.

It’s a little drive to Conyers but I think this sale is worth the drive. Especially on Saturday after 12noon when prices go to 50% off.

Wow! What a week it has been so far! We have an amazing new dealer, and furniture and smalls have been leaving the store and heading to their new homes. When we post that new items have arrived, y’all better come see them quickly! A beautiful secretary arrived at the store Friday afternoon and was gone by Saturday morning!
Y’all come see us tomorrow and check out our new dealer’s bookcase filled with Civil War books, military patches, old photographs, and more.

Yesterday was restock Friday! We brought my Yukon XL full, our 6’ by 12’ trailer full, and our cargo van full!!! Great furniture and smalls! We also had a shipment brought in on September 22nd that we didn’t post about. We have found that we get a lot more people coming into the shop when we don’t post pictures of the new arrivals!! Curiosity gets the best of them!! Hope to see you soon!!!
