It's not uncommon to spot wildlife in the woods around here in Maine, but rarely in such a striking color. (But alwasy PINK for an amazing cause of course!) Congratulations Lucas! Well deserved bud!

Pelkey captures athlete of the week honors

Lucas Pelkey rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown plus had an interception in a 20-18 state championship win for Stearns over Old Orchard. Pelkey won athlete of the week with 3527 total votes.

Pelkey joins Sigrid Koizar (3) (1-22-12), Taylor Pelkey (1-20-13), Jordan Morrow (5-5-13), Raychel Alley (1-4-14), Zack Bouchard (5-2-15), Jessicca Girsa (4-24-16), Cassidy McLeod (6-4-16), Katherine Alley (2) (12-30-19), Seth Garvin (6-11-18), and Alisyn Alley (12-16-19) as student/athletes from Stearns High School to earn athlete of the week honors.

Hollis Schwalm from Camden Hills finished as runner up with 1032 votes. Other nominees were Connor Ayoob- Thornton, Mason Henderson - Leavitt, Hassan Hobbi- Winslow, Ross Fichthorn- Winthrop, Parker Morin- Cony, Jaiden Homa- Kennebunk, Noah Allen- Greely, Cordell Jones- Portland

This beauty leaves the shop today! One of my biggest pet-peeves is building something and then slapping a few coats of paint on it, makes me cringe!🤣 I’d like to say I wouldn’t have to look at it anymore after it leaves the shop today…..but…..this client lives in the same house as myself…….🤣😂
