🖤🌻 From One PCOS Warrior to Another — The Angry Bread Lady 🌻🖤
When I started my tiny little business, The Angry Bread Lady, I never imagined how many incredible women I would cross paths with who were fighting some of the same battles I am.
One of those battles is PCOS (Polycystic O***y Syndrome).
And let me tell you something… this crap is EXHAUSTING. 😅
I know what it’s like to work hard, watch what you eat, exercise, and still feel like your body is fighting you every step of the way.
The insulin resistance. The weight struggles. The hormones. The fatigue. The frustration of doing everything you think you’re supposed to do and wondering why you’re not seeing the results you hoped for.
I’ve been there. I’m STILL there.
I’ve spent months working on myself, building muscle, learning about nutrition, and figuring out what works for MY body. And even with the progress I’ve made, PCOS hasn’t magically disappeared.
Some days I feel strong and unstoppable. Other days, I’m frustrated with a body that doesn’t always cooperate.
But here’s something I’ve learned: We don’t have to punish our bodies to take care of them.
We don’t have to be afraid of every carbohydrate. We don’t have to starve ourselves. And we certainly don’t have to give up every food that makes us happy.
Which is pretty important coming from a woman who owns a BAKERY. 😂🍞
So, to the women who have lost confidence in themselves…
To the women who have lost sleep worrying about their health…
To the women who have cried in dressing rooms, struggled with the number on the scale, or felt like nobody understands what they’re going through…
I SEE YOU. 🖤
I’m sharing these PCOS-friendly grocery guides, bread options, and homemade swaps because I know how overwhelming it can be trying to figure everything out.
I’m not a doctor. I’m not a nutritionist. I’m just a woman with PCOS, a tiny bakery, a stubborn personality, and a genuine desire to help other women who might be struggling too.
And if something I’ve learned along the way helps even ONE of you feel a little less overwhelmed, then sharing it is worth it.
Your worth isn’t measured by your weight, your hormones, your fertility, or how your body looks.
You deserve to feel strong, healthy, confident, and comfortable in your own skin.
And for the record…
You can have PCOS and still enjoy a damn piece of bread. 🍞😂
With love, flour-covered hands, and a whole lot of stubborn determination,
🖤 The Angry Bread Lady 🌻
