This week we lost a friend, confidant and bright shining light. Deb Hooie was our North Star. Herself and husband Al were always near if there was a need. Al and Deb were a HUGE part of the events committee and so much more. At every event no matter what they had going on in life or health they would be there. Deb was a fixture at the craft bazaar bake sale, Milton day volunteer booth, Christmas tree lighting and more. If you needed help on any level the answer was how CAN we help. They sat on the events committee for 10+ years, Deb was the voice of understanding, reason and butt kicking when needed. She had a way of making everyone think and make it happen. Al was always in for what needed to be done with kindness and a hug for reassurance. We lost Al a few years ago this month and Deb just last week. We know they are together watching down helping guide us.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE PHOTOS AND KINDS WORDS.
