A bedroom designed to feel as restorative as it looks.

Soft botanical greens, natural textures, layered textiles, and abundant daylight create a quiet connection to the outdoors. Biophilic design doesn’t always mean filling a room with plants—it can be as subtle as choosing colors, materials, patterns, and light that echo the natural world.

Strong women start as strong girls. 💗
Hayward Design House may be a women-owned business, but for me, this one is much more personal.

I’ve had the privilege of watching Jillian grow from a strong, determined little girl into the woman, mother, business partner—and now marathon runner—she is today. And I know how much it matters for girls to have people in their corner telling them: You are strong. You are capable. You can do hard things.

This November, Jillian is running the NYC Marathon for Girls on the Run NYC, an organization that helps girls build confidence, find their strength, and believe in themselves.

I couldn’t be prouder of her—or happier that every mile she runs will help another girl discover just how much she’s capable of.

If you’d like to support Jillian and Girls on the Run NYC, we would truly appreciate it. Every donation, big or small, helps.

Here’s to raising strong girls. ❤️
Go Jillian! 26.2!

Pattern has the power to transport us—and when it draws from the natural world, it does even more. This dressing room layers botanical motifs, rich textures, natural light, and organic materials to create a space that feels both vibrant and restorative.

Embracing the rhythm, movement, and wonder found in nature, transforming an everyday routine into an immersive experience.

Where architecture meets nature 🌿

Biophilic design isn’t always about filling a room with plants—it’s about creating a deeper connection to the natural world through light, materials, views, and form. In this entry, the arched doorway frames the landscape beyond, while rich wood beams, stone flooring, and handcrafted details bring organic texture indoors. The result is a space that feels grounded, restorative, and timeless.

Designing for the way we’re meant to feel. 🌿

Natural light, organic materials, calming greens, and living plants come together to create a space that feels grounded, restorative, and deeply connected to the natural world.

In biophilic design, every element has a purpose: to reduce stress, encourage well-being, and bring a sense of balance to everyday rituals.

Because the most luxurious spaces aren’t just beautiful—they make you feel better the moment you walk in.
