Some basement details that deserve more show from ~The Scallop House~ 😊

Lots of personal touches and careful space planning around tight turns here to make the lowest level feel just as dreamy as the rest of the home 🤍

Classic October inspo board..A little behind. 🍂

BUT plot twist… we’re pulling inspo for REAL projects we’re pitching to real clients this month and things are getting FUN.

✨ 2 custom builds
✨ 2 luxury townhomes
✨ 2 remodels
✨ 1 addition

And lots of energetic YES’S from clients lately. 🥹

Safe to say, it’s an exciting season over here at The Pleasant Home Co. 🤍

Read somewhere that hanging your kids art like it’s in a gallery inspires them and instills confidence… so we’re giving it a try over here!

One of the most fun mom activities to date!

POV: Your clients love a room so much they ask you to copy it in their NEW house. 🥹

Delighted to be shopping around the design center today for one of our first clients’ new homes!

Throwing it back to their original dining room that they graciously allowed us to decorate for every season 🤪

And the best part?

“In the dining room, can you just do exactly what you did before? Everyone loves it so much.”

LOVEeee when a design is such a slam dunk that the clients want to do it all over again. 🥹

Honestly, this is the biggest compliment a designer can get.

For the eye rollers that don’t understand what I mean when I say “I’m continually inspired by nature.”

Iceland wow you were incredible. Really left me wanting more after 4 short days exploring some of the rarest landscapes on the globe. The volcanic rock paired with the crystal clear geothermal pools and mossy florals meets foliage was truly shocking to the system. The colors and textures form an iconic pallet you don’t see anywhere else. Throw in some local beverages and unicorns and it escalated to dreamland rather quickly.

We shall meet again.

The first rental season at The Scallop House was a success and we are eating up the guest reviews!! ☺️

This project was such a labor of love, and it’s been great fun to see different guests admire it for various reasons as time goes by. In a way it feels like the client reveal lives on!
