HS vs Classic bezel pushers: How to choose? We sometimes hear that people don’t realize how nice and long the big Classic pusher is (it’s sold in a set of two along with a thinner mini). The Classics were the originals, designed for use in hand, and some smiths prefer that length for control and leverage. Now we offer a four-piece HS set too, and the biggest of those (shown here), at 4”, is still shorter than the big Classic because it was originally designed to be used with a small hammer for hammer-setting. But we’ve found that a lot of smiths like to use the HS pushers by hand too! In short, there’s no right or wrong way to use ‘em — as we like to say, whatever works to get the job done. That’s why we give you a choice in shapes, ends, and profiles — and you can customize these even more by filing or sanding the ends or sides. What’s your preference … and do you have a bezel pusher hack to share?
