Distributors and Ecommerce customers have been instructed to add precautions to their websites, sales sheets and catalogs immediately and all SunJel and Private Label orders are on hold. All gel retailers have been instructed to remove product from shelves until extra labeling has been added. Safety Product Commission investigation has been opened, and we are awaiting their suggestions as well.

There have been some injuries reported in regards to people re-fueling their firepots while the pot is still lit. This should NEVER be done. Children should never pour or light this product. This did not happen to SunJel customers, this was a competitve product, however we are taking all measures immediately to ensure everyones safety.
