A selfless woman who always puts her community first. 🌟
This week, we are honored to recognize Brandi Cade as our YWSC Community Hero! 🫶🏼
Brandi is the kind of woman who pours her heart into serving others and making a difference in our community. Through her many roles and continued dedication, she shows us what it truly means to lead with compassion and a servant’s heart. 💙
“I nominate Brandi Cade for YWSC Community Hero because if you know Brandi, you know that serving others isn’t something she does for recognition — it’s simply who she is.
Brandi is the kind of woman who will drop everything to help someone, show up when she’s needed, and give her time without ever expecting anything in return. She has spent years pouring so much of herself into Minden and the people who call it home.
Throughout her career, Brandi has served as the Executive Director of The Farm Cultural Crossroads, and she currently serves as the Operations Manager for Purvéy and The Villas at Spanish Court and Executive Director for Phillip’s Cottage. She also owns her own photography business. But to me, her greatest accomplishments aren’t the titles she has held — they are the people she has helped, the events she has made possible, and the countless moments where she has quietly stepped up when someone needed her.
Brandi was also a member of the Young Women’s Service Club for six years, giving even more of her time and heart to our community alongside her fellow members. I have had the privilege of seeing firsthand just how much she gives to others.
You will see Brandi at events all over Minden. Sometimes she’s right in the middle of everything, and other times she’s behind the scenes making sure everything comes together. And if you compliment her for a job well done, don’t expect her to take the credit. She will immediately name everyone else who helped and tell you it was because of them. That is just Brandi.
But the truth is, there are so many things that would not happen without her.
What makes her even more incredible is that she does all of this while being an amazing mom to her two children, a wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She gives so much of herself to everyone around her, yet continues to show up with the same big heart.
Brandi doesn’t serve because she wants her name recognized. She serves because she genuinely cares. She doesn’t look for the spotlight — she helps create the light for everyone else.
Minden is better because of women like Brandi. Her kindness, generosity, leadership, and willingness to serve have left an impact on so many people, whether they realize it or not.”
