It is an honor to have as one of our last projects as Hopkins Architects the new building for the historic Dairy Queen franchise that is our beloved Hickey’s DQ. Thank you Sam and Shelly for this opportunity. Cannot wait for the new home and the continued success of Hickey’s DQ.

As many of you may have already heard we are building a brand new DQ! You will notice caution tape around our back parking area and construction fencing will be going up soon. Thanks to our gracious neighbor Cookie Scott, starting today you will be able to park next door at Carmen's Gifts and Plants. Our dining room will be open and our drive thru will continue to operate as usual and as always we'll be out to take your order. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. Nice article from the Austin Chronicle about The Crazy Water Hotel. Hopkins Architects was the architect and interior designer for this project and we are very proud of the outcome of this restoration and renovation. Earlier this year Tim took his expertise and 30+ years experience to Jacob & Martin, an engineering and architectural firm based in Abilene. Tim is leading their locally based team, expanding their architectural focus. He’s looking forward to the future with this firm and happy to be able to keep working on local north Texas projects.
