Hand-forged spatula with the signature Kristie twist handle from Arrow M Iron Works.
This large, heavy-duty spatula is built for real ranch cooking — perfect for flipping big cuts of meat, stirring large skillets, or serving up hearty meals. The Kristie twist (my wife’s favorite style) gives it both beauty and a great grip.
We also offer custom engraving on the spatula head (names, brands, dates, or ranch logos) plus full personalization on size and design!
Here’s a true Texas classic this spatula handles beautifully:
Texas Style Chicken Fried Steak & Gravy (serves 4)
Ingredients:
4 cube steaks (or tenderized round steak)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
2 large eggs
½ cup buttermilk
½ cup milk (for gravy)
2 cups beef broth
¼ cup vegetable oil or lard (for frying)
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Season steaks with salt and pepper.
In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
In another dish, whisk eggs and buttermilk.
Dredge each steak in flour, dip in egg mixture, then dredge in flour again.
Heat oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Fry steaks 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and keep warm.
Pour off most of the oil, leaving 3–4 Tbsp with the browned bits.
Whisk in ¼ cup of the remaining flour. Cook 1–2 minutes.
Slowly whisk in beef broth and milk. Simmer until thickened into gravy. Season to taste.
Serve steaks smothered in gravy with mashed potatoes or biscuits.

Built tough for real Texas kitchens.
